Sunday MORNING

Our Adult Bible Classes meet from 11 a.m. to noon on Sundays, after the main worship service. The current topics are listed below.

Family Matters (Kid Zone)

WHEN LIFE IS EXPENDABLE: Culture is constantly changing and in current culture not all human life is valued. However, whether it is an unborn child, someone with physical or mental challenges, or an elderly person, God sees a human being He loves deeply and created to bear His image. Join us in God's Family Matters as we learn from the birth of Moses that life is a gift from God we are called to protect and preserve.

Foundations (Fellowship Hall)

Just over two years ago I began reading a book that produced a profound paradigm shift in my thinking. Entitled, "The Unseen Realm" by Dr. Michael Heiser, this book opened my eyes to see from a completely new perspective both familiar and more obscure Biblical references to the invisible world of the supernatural. The first two sessions of class will (surprisingly!) involve watching "Alien Invasion: Unmasking a Deception." We will be reading Dr. Heisen's book "Supernatural" as our textbook. In it, Dr. Heisen shows us what the Bible teaches about the unseen world - and why it matters.

Conversations with Christ (Prayer Room)

A prayer space to worship, seek and meet Jesus together. A place to know and love our Father as we are directed by His Spirit.

YOUNG ADULTS

So you're outta high school, maybe in college (Hancock State?), maybe working, or newly married and starting your career, and you're looking for your place in the world ... you can find Calvary Young Adults meeting up on Sunday evenings, 7-9pm (usually in the LifeHouse), for some worship and Bible Study, mixed up with a worship & game night or BBQ here and there.  Come connect with other young adults, grow in Christ and be encouraged as you learn the art of adulting!  Led by Pastor Dan -- email dbergstrom@calvarylompoc.org or call the church office at 805-733-3545 to find the latest info.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

We have a heart for helping women find a place to fit and serve with their gifts. We have several events throughout the year and weekly Bible studies to help facilitate that and minister to the women of our congregation. For more information, please call the church office or check out our facebook page.

Men's Ministry

The highlight of the year for our men is our Converge PacWest Men's Retreat every March at Mt. Hermon Conference Center near Santa Cruz. You'll also find our men meeting up for Men's Breakfasts on Saturdays, meeting up for Bible Studies mid-week, and serving in a variety of capacities around the church from youth and children's ministry to property maintenance.  Our men love God, their families and their church, and live out their faith in Christ everyday on the job.  Come and grow in Christ with us!

KOINONIA

The Koinonia ("fellowship") ministry exists as a social and spiritual fellowship for seniors, roughly 50 years and older. God uses the seniors' spiritual gifts and talents to minister to one another, as "senior saints," and to the CBC congregation. They usually meet on the 2nd Friday of each month (September - May) at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. For additional information, you can check the Calendar for Koinonia event times and dates or call the Church Office at 733-3545 and ask for Camille.
