Our Adult Bible Classes meet from 11 a.m. to noon on Sundays, after the main worship service. The current topics are listed below.

God's Family Matters (Fellowship Hall)

Jesus taught his disciples how to pray by giving them the model prayer that is found in Matthew 6. We have discussed this prayer over the past few weeks. The purpose of Jesus' teaching and our discussion is to learn how to pray so that we will pray. Join us in God's Family Matters as we take what we have learned and pray.

The Book of Galatians explains that Salvation isn't something we simply receive, it is something to be lived  out in every detail of life. The gospel is not only the way to enter the kingdom, it is the way to live in the kingdom. Join us to explore the themes, encouragements and challenges of the book.

So you're outta high school, maybe in college (Hancock State?), maybe working, or newly married and starting your career, and you're looking for your place in the world ... you can find Calvary Young Adults meeting up on (most) Thursday evenings, 7-9pm (ON THE PATIO), for some worship and Bible Study, mixed up with a worship & game night or BBQ here and there.

Come connect with other young adults, grow in Christ and be encouraged in the art of adulting!

Led by Pastor Dan -- email or call the church office at 805-733-3545 for the latest info.

We have a heart for helping women find a place to fit and serve with their gifts. We have several events throughout the year and weekly Bible studies to help facilitate that and minister to the women of our congregation. For more information, please call the church office or check out our facebook page.

Men's Ministry

The highlight of the year for our men is our Converge PacWest Men's Retreat every March at Mt. Hermon Conference Center near Santa Cruz. You'll also find our men meeting up for Men's Breakfasts on Saturdays, meeting up for Bible Studies mid-week, and serving in a variety of capacities around the church from youth and children's ministry to property maintenance.  Our men love God, their families and their church, and live out their faith in Christ everyday on the job.  Come and grow in Christ with us!

The Koinonia ("fellowship") ministry exists as a social and spiritual fellowship for seniors, roughly 50 years and older. God uses the seniors' spiritual gifts and talents to minister to one another, as "senior saints," and to the CBC congregation. They usually meet on the 2nd Friday of each month (September - May) at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. For additional information, you can check the Calendar for Koinonia event times and dates or call the Church Office at 733-3545 and ask for Camille.
