Children's Ministries

Nursery Care

On Sunday mornings we have nursery care available for infants through kindergarteners. Our nursery is located in the house across the parking lot on the south side of the the main campus. Our volunteer staff are ready to sing, play, and talk about Jesus with our youngest church attenders.

Children’s Church

Our Children’s Church program is open to kids in first through sixth grade. This class is an opportunity for students to hear and participate in a lesson specifically designed for kids their age. Kids are encouraged to participate, and parents are welcome to come check it out with their kids any time. Kids are dismissed immediately before the sermon portion of the 9:30 worship service to meet their teacher in the foyer. Parents, please pick up your kids from Pritchard Hall following the service.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are available for all ages from 11:00 to 12:00 each Sunday morning. Our children’s Sunday School classes are currently going through a study called Bible Studies for LIFE. This hands-on series is full of games, videos, crafts, and activities that help kids engage with the lesson and take biblical truth into their daily life.

  • The Preschool and Kindergarten Bible Studies for LIFE class meets in the Nursery Classroom.
  • The 1st through 3rd Grade Bible Studies for LIFE class meets in Pritchard Hall.
  • The 4th through 6th Grade Bible Studies for LIFE class meets in KidZone.
  • The Bible Studies for LIFE Family App is available for download in the Apple and Android app stores.

Children’s Team

We are excited to have such a great team of people serving in our Children’s Ministries here at Calvary. We are very grateful for our children’s Sunday School team of JoAnn Anderson, Helen Wilson, and Barbara Barber, as well as all our volunteers for nursery, preschool, and Children's Church. Our midweek AWANA ministry is led by Director Tim Stout and his team.
