Paul is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M in Hebrew and Semitic studies) and also of the University of Washington (MA in Philosophy). He served as a pastor of several churches for 25 years and for 14 years was active in ministry as a "street shepherd." He loves studying and teaching God's Word, encouraging believers to grow in grace. Paul and his wife Vivian have two adult children, a daughter Andi, a son Mark, and 8 grandchildren.
Dan's passion is helping people become enthralled with God. Dan equips and encourages our children's and youth ministry teams, and invests into the lives of young adults and families. After cramming his BA in Communication from Cal Poly SLO into seven years (including a few years of biblical studies at Westmont – and a year knocking off some GE at SBCC while falling in love with his wife Cari) Dan embarked on his ministry journey that has taken him all over California. He has been a Youth Pastor, Church Planter, Senior Pastor and Principal/Administrator of a Christian school. Dan and Cari have two young adult children, and love being outdoors: in the backyard, on the beach, at the lake or exploring National Parks.
Daniel grew up at Calvary since he and his family moved to Vandenberg
Air Force Base in 2001. He was involved in music all throughout his
educational career, and decided to venture to Santa Barbara to attend
Westmont College and further pursue music. He graduated in 2016 with his
Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, and spent a year in Santa Barbara
doing various jobs, both musically and non-music related, before being
called back home to Lompoc to serve in the music ministry at Calvary. He
enjoys seeing how music can move a community to worship God. Because
he sees the impact that music has on young people, he has also been
volunteering some of his time with the youth ministry at Calvary.
Alice has been worshiping at Calvary with her family, since 2001 when her husband, Joe, transferred to Vandenberg AFB. She has 4 adult children David, Deanna, Daniel & Derek, who all grew up here and participated in AWANA and youth group. Alice has been secretary since the beginning of 2018 and enjoys being able to assist the staff and congregation here at Calvary!
