AWANA has started!

It's not too late to get registered for the year.  There are two ways to do so:

1) Come to club and register—our club days and times are listed in the next section.

2) Register ahead of time. Please click on the link to print the registration forms.  We can help you with page 2 at registration if you like.

Praise the Lord!  God has met our needs for workers in most clubs.

We are looking for one more TREK (Jr. High) helper.  This is a great group of motivated kids.  Bill Newton is our TREK Director and has the most interesting life stories to tie into the TREK Lesson and God's Word.

If you have questions, or if you would like to inquire about serving, please call Tim Stout at (805) 757-4435.

What’s Awana?

Awana is an international, Bible-centered ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs and programs for pre-schoolers through high schoolers. Our goal is to reach boys and girls, and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that they will all come to know, love, and serve Him. The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of the phrase “approved workmen are not ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15).

What do kids want after they have been to Awana?

They want to come back!  Why?  Because Awana is fun!  That’s what gets them there and that’s what keeps them coming back.  And while they’re having fun, they’re learning and growing.

Awana club meetings are jam-packed with life changing experiences.  The clubs are run by trained leaders with a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to help your kids.  The club materials are filled with verses from the Bible and guidelines to help kids memorize and understand them.

Awana teaches kids that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ.  Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives.  Lessons from the Bible teach them how to honor God in today’s world.

Are there costs involved?

Yes, we collect dues to help offset the cost of running the club.  However, we do not want dues to prevent anyone from attending club.  If you are in need of help in this area, please contact the club commander.   Dues vary depending upon the age group and when your child joins the club.
